This is a new issue that's suddenly cropped up. I've got a 8" dip pressure pipe that needs to dive under an 8" sanitary line. No problem, normally.
My process is to lay out the pipe in plan up to the crossing, put a separate section of pipe at the crossing, and then the next piece of pipe. Then draw those parts in profile view, (no exaggeration, parallel to the pipe) setting the cover depth for the outside pipes, and placing the crossing section below the sanitary line. Then add 45 degree bends at the pipe ends in the profile view, and add the connecting pipes in plan view. It's worked reliably.... until now.
For this crossing, the connecting pipes will only connect to one of the 45 deg bends in plan, and even though the connection glyph shows up when I hover of the target, fitting -- the pipe will not connect.
