    Question Customizing Drawing BOM

How can I edit model files for Custom ipropeties that will auto populate the drawing BOM

I am creating new drawings for all our hardware
Instead of hundreds of individual drawings I have one for each group
For example Capscrews Hex Head Grade 5
This will have many many items added to its Assembly & Drawing
The BOM needs to have Column that populate the Dimensions shown in a single view
This single view has a letter for each dimension (L for length etc)

On customizing the drawing BOM you only have two choices
    Global property or Custom
Global is what I want to auto populate
    Custom is Manual Entry only

Maybe I need an Ilogic script

    Thanks

    Default Re: Customizing Drawing BOM

If all the parts in the assembly are similar, you can export the custom ipt parameters as iProperties. Then you can include the iProperies in the assembly BOM.
