    Default Tiff Image Banding

    TIFF Image Error
After attaching a TIFF, RGB mode into a CAD drawing, it looks great. Later when it is reopened, the images have changed, there is banding, shifting (the image repeats its self over and over in bands through out the image frame).

    Any suggestions,

    Thanks in advance.

tiff is called a loose format, i.e. there are many flavors of tiff. The first thing I would try is after attaching, save the tif using the options offered by Raster Design. That way you know it's using a format that is supported by Autodesk.

Indeed, TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) is known for its flexibility, and there are various versions or "flavors" of TIFF. Each flavor may support different compression methods, color spaces, and other attributes.

When working with TIFF files in Autodesk Raster Design or other design software, it's a good practice to use options provided by the software when saving or attaching TIFF files. This ensures compatibility and that the file is saved in a format that the software can effectively work with.

Raster Design may have specific settings or options for saving TIFF files that are optimized for its functionalities. By using these options, you're more likely to avoid potential compatibility issues or loss of information that can occur if a TIFF file is saved with options not supported by the .

If you encounter any issues or if there are specific requirements for TIFF files in your Autodesk software, checking the documentation or support resources for the software can provide additional guidance on the recommended settings for working with TIFF files.
