Default Civil 3D - Slow Cross Sections

Hi. I am working in a fairly large file containing surfaces and a lot of cross sections. I regret not breaking the file up but at this point that isn't an option. I just need to know if there is a setting or something that I can turn off so that when I do things like change the sample line offsets it doesn't have to regen right away. I thought of locking some layers but don't know if that will help. I just really need to speed this process up a little bit. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You might try setting REGENAUTO to OFF. Of course, you will have to manually refresh and also update section view layouts after the changes. That may take some time.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.
