    Default Insert vs classicinsert

When I make changes to an existing block with attributes and 'classicinsert' it into a drawing that has the old block, I'm asked if I want to redefine it, I click yes and cancel. Then I attsync it and all is good. But if I use the new 2021 insert, this doesn't happen. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

Starting in 2020 the INSERT (Command) Displays the Blocks palette, which you can use to insert blocks and drawings into the current drawing which is a nice interface especially for inserting blocks from another drawing. For the functionality you're looking for try the -INSERT (Command) which works the same way as in older versions and was always the easiest way to insert and redefine a block other than Design Center.

That's what classicinsert does, so I've made 'i' as a shortcut for 'classicinsert'. Might give Design Center a go, though, thanks for the info.
