How can I change the setting so the "Use name template in parcel style" is not checked for future parcel creating?

Are you not wanting the "Lot :" portion included in the Parcel Name? You can remove that by changing the "Parcel Name Template" shown on the Design tab of the Parcel Style dialog box. The button at the end of that template name displays another dialog to allow for editing of the Parcel name template.
