How do I delete the PI of this alignment now that it has a horizontal curve design in it?

Use the button with the red "x" located on the right side of the Alignment Layout Tools bar. After clicking that button, then click the curve to remove it. This will leave the PI in place.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.
