    Default Line type Scale

    How can I set my linetype scale to draw at 1?

    I have noticed hat ever linetype I select the draw when I select on the new line the Linetype Scale is at 0.5

    Check your "celtscale" value, it's probably at "0.5" instead of "1"
    Not sure of your process but that value is saved in the drawing, if you have something setting that upon startup you can change it like in an "acaddoc.lsp"

    Does the ce in the variable stand for Civil Engineering?

    is there a variable code set for Architectural?

    celtscale just means the current ltscle setting, either 1 or some other number. Nothing special to either Civil or Architectural work

    My guess is has always been that it stands for "current entity". Those sysvars store the current value that new entities get created with, except for CLAYER. Not sure why it doesn't follow that pattern. Maybe it's not "entity", but "current" seems to fit.
