Surface from 3D Survey dwg/dxf

Hi all, new to Civil3D, but over 30years AutoCAD experience also 20 years experience with Causeway PDS & Site3D. Is there a simple way to create a surface from a 3D survey where the levels and line work are in 3D "3Dpolylines", any tutorial on youtube just deals with points and then grouping points and tracing the line work. I stopped using 3d point files 15 years ago.
All help would be greatly appreciated.

sure, create an emoty surface in Prospector, then add drawing objects under Edit
