    Default Architectural Dimension Style

The image shows two Dimension styles. The top is Decimal (what I typically use for Civil drawings). I am trying to create a Dimstyle for details that that produces
Ft' - In-1/2". Architectural does what I want but doesnt appear to be able to read my drawing units correctly.

13.34 ft is correct in image below

    Default Re: Architectural Dimension Style

Your civil dwgs usually have feet for the units, but arch dwgs have inches for the units. In your screen shot, you have checked 'Apply to layout dimensions only', but the scale is set to 1 not 12.
