Default Text Component Editor -- blurry text

Civil3d Label styles -- all of them

This is not getting any better over time, and I'm getting awfully sick of it.
How the b@$@$& can the text display on the right be fixed? changing color of the and readability? This has been a PITA for many iterations of civil3d.

The method is to change the background color of the currently visible drawing layout tab. The background of this editor dialog box inherits that color from there. Why? Who knows. Why is this not customizable on its own? Again, who knows other than this is a Civil 3D specific dialog box.

it's not just the background, the text display itself is badly rendered.

HI Just another example of how Civil3D has never lived up to it's promise and Autodesk non-responsive attitude. overpriced product that will never perform as promised

turning off "cleartype" (uncheck) in windows settings will help with visibility

Thanks, that helps a lot. I still need to reset the background color in Options for the text in the editor to be visible. But at least it works now

Of course, now all other text in every application is slightly less readable........

yeah, unfortunately that's the trade off. I'm not a computer programmer, but I wonder if there's a routine, script file or lsp file that could be written to toggle back and forth
