    Default stationing

I have an old set of highway plans. the stationing of the alignment has 2 values for the pc & pt. ex.-P.C.-Sta. 141+49.14L.B. = 141+49.62 L.A.
Does anyone know what the L.B. & L.A. stand for? I'm trying to recreate the alignment and the numbers just aren't working out.

It looks as if there are two alignments Line A and Line B (hence L.A. and L.B..) and what you may be seeing are the station equations for the two alignments.

I would lean toward those labels to mean "Looking Back" and "Looking Ahead". But I don't work with them enough to know for certain.
