Add proposed surface to a section view
After creating a section view group I made a proposed surface. Now I am trying to add the propose surface sections to the section view.
When I try to create another section or even another section view, my Civil 3D file is not recognizing there is a new proposed surface to add.
Why not?

Have you not added the proposed surface as a data source to your Sample Line Group. You can add or remove data sources from the Sections tab of the Sample Line Group properties dialog.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Click on one section, the ribbon for sections will come up, hit Sample More Sources, add in referenced or unreferenced surface with style.
