    Default Assembly types

Its been about a year since I created assemblies.

What are the difference between Undivided, Divided, and Other Assembly Styles?

    Default Re: Assembly types

The differences are in the features that come along with the assemblies. The Undivided assembly is lanes that meet in the middle (with or without a crown), the divided assembly had a median area between lanes of traffic, etc. If you search on AutoCAD's website they give all the point codes and features required or included with each type of assembly.

I am sure you could massage a divided assembly to have no median if needed, but I have never worked with those, so it would be a trial and error situation if you decided to use the divided assembly for an undivided roadway.
