DXB Imported detail

It's been a couple- three decades since I've had to deal with DXB in any context, but one of our structural people sent me a detail drawing that appears to be created by importing a DXB file, of possible imported from HPGL -- nothing in it except line segment (and solids for arrowheads) All the text s nothing except lines e.g. the letter "O" is 20 line segments.

Any suggestions on how to get this POS into a usable form?

Sounds like it may have been a imported pdf. You might try using PDFSHXTEXT to convert the "text".

Good idea -- that looks like it's doing a decent job of converting the linework into actual text entities, it doesn't seem to recognize the numeral "5", but otherwise it does the job.

It will do a better job if you specify a font that more closely matches the lines.
