    Post a sample dwg of before and after like in your image. Then we can look at it and comment.

    Hi BIG-AL, thank you for your time
    Here is an example of an original .dxf file and a file after placing the marks and dimensioning.
    my thought is to train AI with these files, learn from many examples to dimension the components.
    I can create a lisp macro to export both incorrect and correct dxf file this is easy.
    I don't know anything about AI, it would be interesting to know which AI model to use but above all how.

    For me make functions that do 1 task, such as slots, bolt patterns including section all dimensioned as you draw them, use a dcl front end for quick choice of objects.

    Something like this

    you could search for text and attribute content in external drawing files with Watson6.0 by http://watsonlisp.com/ Artificial intelligence for AutoCAD , AI
