    Default stairs

    Hi All
This must have been addressed in the past, but I can't find it.

what I want to do, is create a concrete stair with a landing that is narrower than the stair tread.
I have been able to work around it by creating a concrete stair ending with a tread and then a slab and just placing them next to each other.
while this works it takes some tidying up in a section drawing.
    ant thoughts or help.?

I'm having a hard time picturing a landing that is narrower. Do you have a picture of what you want?

    Hi Ed
I need a landing narrower than the stair tread as the treads or out side a wall and are the full width of the wall the landing is inside the wall and the wall passes below the landing.
i have gutted the model and still cant get it below the 2mb required so I have uploaded the gutted model to the drop box.

    Hi Ed.
    I've done it.
if I use multi landing style it gives me the option to edit the landing edges.
    Thanks

I looked at your model. It had copies of stairs, etc on top of each other. I deleted them. With the stairs left, I edited the properties for the stairs to terminate in a landing and raised the height to match the other slab. Then I selected the stairs and on the stair tab, I used the interference command and selected the lower brick wall. That removed the section of the landing that interfered with the wall.
