Hi is anyone having problems with pallets not auto hiding?

Pallets is the kind made of wood.

When you right click on the palette title bar, is Auto-Hide checked?

sorry for taking so long to get back to you
we are crazy busy
yes the auto hide is checked
its very odd behavior

its happening to all my docked pallets on the left side of the screen but not the right side of the screen.
when a click on them they roll out just fine.
sometimes they even roll back up when I click on the screen somewhere else.
but most times they just sit there taking up screen space.
I have to close them manually and then re-open them to be able to use them.
this is happening on all projects so it's not a problem on one project.
There must be a setting somewhere that sets the time they are open after I have clicked off, to close it but I cant find it

Im hoping some knows where it is
its most annoying having to close and the re-open the tool pallets all the time.

Are the palettes, not pallets, on the left docked? Try docking to the right and then docking to the left again. Then see if the behavior is the same.

sorry again for the late reply.
yes, all the palettes are docked both left and right
they are all set to auto-hide they just don't.
its becoming very annoying

it may be time to get autodesk involved

Perhaps so. You could also try uninstall/reinstall. Before you do, run the Export Settings tool to save your configuration for importing after reinstall.

Did you try docking to the right and then docking to the left? The idea is to force a reset of the registry settings.
