Default Crashes in acad 2023 and 2024

Please let me know if this is not the correct forum. I have been having a lot of crashes lately—three this morning and four or five the past week. I upgraded to Acad 2024 and still had some random crashes. Autodesk support did get back to me and said it was probably a .NET issue that they were trying to resolve. Support suggested that I upgrade my .NET.
    I am using win10 64 bit.
Would upgrading to acad 2025 help?

    Thanks

I went ahead and moved this from the Software forum, to the AutoCAD forum. Hopefully someone here can help, because that sounds frustrating as all get out.

First of all, what exactly is "crashing"? AutoCAD? Windows? What symptoms do you get? Any error messages, screenshots? What were you doing when it happened. AutoCAD 2018+ runs on .NET Framework 4.8.

As the Windows 11 update was free for compatible PCs I'm assuming your's wasn't so it might be a good time to upgrade. New PCs are cheaper and more powerful than ever even with multiple solid-state terabyte drives that open hugh drawings instantly and should be compatible for years. Discount clubs like Sam's and Costco have some that will dazzle for about $1000. Cheap compared to the cost of AutoCAD considering how much faster you'll be able to complete your drawings.

.NET Framework requirement jumps to .NET 8 for the 2025 version
