    Default Point Style Overrides

    I'm hoping someone can help.

I seem to be having trouble with my point style overrides, assuming I'm clear on how they work.

I can't seem to get the file small enough to attach so I just have to describe my problem.

I have several topo shots, each with their own point code and placed in a separate point group. For example, the points coded as 900 are ground shots and they automatically go into a ground shots point group. However, I would also like them to be in the spots point group and take on that style over the current ground shots point group style. I have tried everything I can think of. Right now I have the style and point label style in the spots group, checked and those same options in the ground shots group unchecked. I thought that would make the points have the spot elevation style. I have also tried any other combination of options that I could come up with and the points maintained the style of the ground shots.

Am I not understanding the usefulness of the overrides or am I missing something? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

If you Right Click on Point Groups - select Properties, Is your point group you want to use overrides with showing above the Ground Shots point group?
