Default Your Ideas on the Cause: Block Shows Overlaid Visibility States

The attachment shows the top view of a W-shape structural beam (I-beam). The issue is that our company is receiving design files with instances where the resulting block is shown with all visibility states of this item overlaid on each other (at various sizes).

The contracted company supplies design files with these occurrences.
We would like to prevent future occurrences.
Also, we currently do not have access to the "correct" source block.

Can you pass along instances that cause this issue?

    Thanks,

    C.H.

There could be a couple of reasons.
    1. the block has been exploded, so it's no longer dynamic and all states are showing.
    2. It's annotative and you don't have an annotation scale that matches.

Do items with non-associated scales even show when none of the assigned scales match?

The image resembles the preview of annotative objects when the object is selected, however, the object not selected is showing similarly to the preview. With that, I do not believe this is an annotative scale issue. I'm leaning more toward a visibility state in a dynamic block.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.
