    Default automatically signed out

Ever since I renewed my subscription back in January, whenever I leave an autocad session running, after a period of time it automatically closes and I
have to resign in. It even happens if I leave a dwg open, especially overnight. It not only happens with civil 3d 2025, but also 2024, 2023, and 2022.
Is there a way to stop this from happening or is it a new policy from autodesk.

    thanks.

When you leave it alone, are you losing your internet connection? Laptops on wifi like to do that. But no, you shouldn't have to keep logging in. You might also want to start a support ticket.

Can you better define "leave an autocad session running"? and "a period of time"?

    Are you getting this?

I did get that message for awhile, but it eventually went away. Now the program just closes.
I usually leave the program running overnight or more.

Why? I rarely ever close acad or shut down my pc.

@rmk, This blog post might help. As I mentioned, you may be losing internet connectivity or in some way losing connection to adesk.

Hi Thomas. Just because you've done it for 27 years doesn't make it "good" or "bad". I've been doing it 35 years, but it doesn't mean my way is better. I was wondering "why" you thought it was good, since I haven't had any issues leaving it running. I don't do it on my laptop, but my work desktop is always on. About the only bad thing I can think of is the electricity it uses. But there aren't any performance issues that I know of.

I don't have to close AutoCAD much either, it takes care of that by itself with regular crashes.
