Default Using cad DWG for REVIT TOPO IN REVIT LT 2024

If I cannot see the cad file after linking into revit so I can create a topo, I think the problem is the cad file is to far away so should I do something to the cadfile in autocad before I link The cad is a surveyor 3D cad dwg

In Revit floor level 1 I went to Insert/ link cad changed units to metres left current view unchecked centre to centre
    But cannot see it anywhere.

It shows being linked under manage link

    Thanks

I'm not an expert when linking cad files into Revit, especially "Surveyor 3D" (is that Civil 3D?), but...
I would check your "origin" in your cad file, if it's on some global datum, it may be too far away from your project base point in Revit.

Is your cad file work visible in a Revit 3D view? (turn off all clipping etc)
In the level 1 plan view, have you tuned off "crop view" and zoom extents?

If it is too far away and you don't care about it's global position, you may consider changing the base point of your cad file to something closer to the geometry, and then link it to "origin" or try one of the other options.

    Just my 2 cents.
