Cut fill Pattern

I am am trying to fill all of the cuts with a solid black fill however on my 6" generic wall the fill does not show. The Coarse Scale Fill Pattern and Color for the wall are set correctly as well as Cut Pattern Color in the Override Model Patterns option under Visibility/Graphic Overrides for Section. What am I missing???

Have you checked that your detail level setting is set to course for the view.
