    Default Gain that Screen Space!

Im running 2006 but this may work in previous versions.
    1. With expresstools loaded you can use the command fullscreen to
    gain some extra screen space.

    2. Right click on the taskbar, choose options, autohide the taskbar. Can
always hit the windows key in order to bring it up. Alt + Tab may also
be used to switch between open programs.

    3. Autohide toolpalletes, properties, etc.

    4. Use the pgp file to setup hotkeys so you do not need tons of toolbar icons

    5. Make sure to keep an icon for save, print, publish, etc. The menus can
be avoided, file/plot can be a crutch.

    6. Use the properties toolbar to change color and linetype. Even though the
properties menu is good for editing objects, try using it less; the
properties toolbar can be quicker. The properties menu could potentially
    be removed from the screen.

The supplied picture is not that great, but it gives the general idea.

In 2006 i have found I love having more screen space by using the Workspaces to control how many and what toolbars i have open at a time.

And i have also found that Ctrl + 9 rids me of the Command Line i don't need anymore given me much more room!!

I use dual 19" flatscreen monitors, and stick my tool palletes, toolbars, text window etc. on my second monitor. I don't use a command line, just the text window streched to fit about half my screen. I then make Autocad full-screen on my main monitor and have a full 19" worth of drawing area.

    Very cool.

That would be a good way to get some decent screen space.......my pc is capable of handling dual screens however IT will not get me a second monitor.
