    Default Hardware requirements

I find that desktop 3.3 is too much for my older computer. I am thinking of moving up to desktop 2005, and want to know what I should be looking at for a new computer.

    Thank you
    Frank

Get the best of the best. You'll be hard pressed to buy 2005 now & should want to go with 2006 anyway.
    From Autodesks website:
    Recommended System Requirements
    • Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD-K7™ processor, 1.4 GHz or higher
    • Microsoft® Windows® XP (Professional, Home Edition, or Tablet PC Edition, SP2 or later) or Windows 2000 Professional (SP4 or later)
    • 1 GB RAM
    • 650 MB free hard disk space and 75 MB swap space; 1.3 GB for full installation
    • 1024x768 VGA video display
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
    • Modem or other connection to the Internet
    • Sound card for multimedia learning
    • TCP/IP or IPX support (required only for multiuser or floating license configurations)
