    Default Crop regions

Hello All, (third and last question for the day, this is not a good sign!)

Can anybody explain the difference between the crop regions on the elevations of the attached images.
The north elevation has dots and squiggles (break points to split the elevation) while the
    south only has stretch arrows.
(I apologise for the overly technical language)

I have not done anything different (to my knowledge) in each view, simply shown the crop region.
    Any ideas?

    Roy

It has been one of my ongoing nightmares. You will notice (apart from differences in appearance) that they also behave differently! When you drag your "triangular" controlls in the second example, they will not follow the crop box boundary, unless the view is actually refreshed! Very annoying...

As to the explanation - I am still waiting for someone to explain that to me (I asked the same question about eight months ago...)

It all starts at the default template file. Delete and re-create the south elevation.

Break lines seem to be an area requiring attention, as they require continual refreshing to use, and export to regular cad terribly..

For the time being, proceed with caution..

    Thanks Zeds (and everyone else)
Fixing the template sorted the problem.

... still would like to know how/why it happened in the first place.
(voice in head says 'Don't Worry, be happy, move on, just let it goooooooooo........')

Keep up the good work everyone!

    So simple, eh?

Thank you for a great tip. It seems that you have a full bag of them... Your tips on families/project file size are priceless...
