    Angry Mouse Buttons in 2006

I have for the most part figured out the new CUI to the point that I can change what I need changed to fit my drafting style. The ONLY problem that I have run into is I have not figured out the #$^^#^ mouse buttons. All I want them to do is when I hit my thumb button the OSnaps menu pops up, thats all. I have had no success in getting this to work. In the past I used the F12 button and linked it to my button to make the menu pop up. If somebody has any help, link, or a button to blow it up, would be greatly appreciated.

Wow. Same mouse. That makes this easier. Ok, are you using Application-specific settings in the mouse driver?

Add a new command. (I called mine "OSnap Menu")
    The macro I provided was: $P0=ACAD.SNAP $P0=*
I changed the Element ID to fit my naming structure: MW_ShowSnap
Hit <Apply> to save the new command.
Expand the Keyboard Shortcuts node for the Custom.cui (assuming you followed my "Notes" thread)
    Expand the Shortcut Keys node.
Drag and drop the new "OSnap Menu" command into the Shortcut Keys node.
Edit the properties to use the F12 key.
Hit <OK> to save and exit the CUI dialog.

    Test F12 now.

Assign F12 in the mouse driver.

    Robert,
I may have spoke too early, I was using my OSnap button, the only issue I have is if I draft by selecting an object (wall, door, etc.) right click for a command and then use my OSnap button, I get the last menu used, not the OSnap menu. It is not showing the OSnap menu. Any ideas, shoot them this way.
