Great Idea - I would use this all the time.
Good idea - but not a priorety.
Marginal idea - I might or might not use this.
Bad idea - The paint tool is fine the way it is.
Use Paint Tool in Perspective Views
Simple Wish - I want to be able to use the paint tool in perspective views. It can be tricky trying to find the right view and switching between views to paint an inside corner or a ceiling. Being able to paint in perspective views would be a lot less time consuming and a much more intuitive process.

yes please, I agree. I find this very iritating when surveying the building internally from perspective views (and externally in parts) and something needs to change. Having to switch views is somewhat annoying and a waste of time.

You know that you can paint from a 3D ortho view though.

Attach top/bottom walls in perspective and join geometry in perspective views
