    Default Unable to recover

I've seen this problem 3 times in the last week (two times that I've excperienced it personally). I am unable to open a drawing. I try to open the file using Recover. Recover runs and tells me there are no errors. A few seconds later, I receive this fatal error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0004 Exception at 650f87f0h.

I can not partial open, insert as a block, save to another format, or even use the most recent back up file.

I really need to sort out why this is happening.

The files are 2004 format. I was working on the file in question yesterday.

I could upload, if there is anyone who has time to look at it.

    Thanks,

    Jason

Do you have the autosave or backup files?

I had that happen to me.....seems one of the third party applications I am using created an error that increased the file size to well over 3mb of junk code. Only way I could get my file back was from an IT backup copy. I did not have backup files turned on. I no longer use the third party application, surprised eh?
