Text Window Opens up on top of each Drawing

Quick question, It seems like some IT work was done on the system at work and now every drawing I open has the 'text screen' open up automatically, usually on top, sometimes it will be in the background. This is not a major issue, but it is annoying to have to do an extra step, to close, minimize or supercede, just to see my drawing each time I open a new drawing. Curious if there is a setting for this? Thanks in advance for your time.

don't know off the top of my head, but, more details might help the more informed readers come to a conclusion. such as: your version of autocad (plus any service packs), your operating system, and perhaps some of the IT work just done (if you know).

OS: Windows XP
AutoCAD 2005 Service Pack 1
I of course don't know what the IT tech did, but I think one of the items may have been upgrading the CMS to CMSv4. Thing is, this is not happening to everyone in the office, my computer is the closest to the server room, so I was thinking they may have just logged on to my station to check something and who knows what else. Anyway, I thought there might be a command line that I wasn't familiar with that caused this.
