Is there a way to pull a room tag out of the room and still have it display the correct area? This is necessary when a room (i.e. closet) is too small to fit the room tag which includes a room number and area along side room dimensions. Something like a leader attached to the tag would be good.

If you add a leader to the tag and make sure the head of the leader is in the space, the tag itself can be anywhere you'd like.

In the Options Bar (REVIT 6), there is a leader option. Place the tag and then move it to get the tag to a better location

Thanks Steve - that's great. I see now that 5.1 also has the leader option.
