I wish I could give you an answer on that, but it top secrete government info No really, I don't know because we don't keep track of that information. These downloads are open to the public so anyone can download them.

Here is the brake down of the downloads

    Erosion 1 : DWF=179 PDF=254
    Erosion 2 : DWF=158 PDF=130
    Sidewalk : DWF=180 PDF=166
    Water 1 : DWF=112 PDF=111
    Water 2 : DWF=171 PDF=134
    Sewer : DWF=180 PDF=236
    Street : DWF=236 PDF=230

DWF isn't kicking @ss, but its keeping up.

Question Re: Standard PDF.pc3 option *

cool, thanks for the details. that's interesting.
another question? how long have you been using dwf? and how long were you using it before it started to overtake pdf?
Who decided to implement dwf? (of course, I'm only assuming that pdf was in use before you started using dwf... but, we all know what they say about people who assume!)

I took over maintaining the site 2 years ago. I started using DWF at that time. Before that only PDF was offered and don't know what the downloads were like. These results are totals between June 05 and June 04. That is as far back as FrontPage will keep track of. As far as I can remember the first year it has stayed pretty even between the two versions.

That was my decision. One of few I get to make myself. I pretty much have full control over the site in what we do or don't offer.

Yes, Autodesk should do it. No, they won't. Not while they're convinced they can use DWF to take over the world.

I wrote my own that uses GhostScript to automatically convert an AutoCAD-created EPS file. Works well, but it shouldn't have been required.

Even though they are pushing DWF's my customers want PDF's so I have to use a Third Party. It would be nice to have it within AutoCAD.
