Ability to rotate a working plane in the model.

You can turn on workplane visibility, then select it and rotate it. Is this what you are meaning? If not, could you explain further?

As you mention you can presently rotate in the "X & Y" of that work plane; but I was suggesting to be able to rotate the work plane in the "Z" direction.

ah, that is another story. Yes, that would be cool, but you can rotate a reference plane and set that to be the workplane. It's a little slower than just rotating the plane, but it would work...
