the sink is on the left on the island along with the dishwasher and the cooktop is on the right side of the island.

Thanks Daniel, the cabinets will be done in Maple with a light stain but will have a brown highlight in all the edges. that will make all the mouldings and edges stand out more. thank you for your reply. this site is great and so are the people here.
