    Default Calculating Area Concept

    Hi,

Question, remember in autocad if you needed to calculate a ballpark area of something you can just draw a quick closed pline and click "list", and presto, you would have the area?

Does Revit have a similiar tool to quickly calculate areas in any view? I need to take some quick areas in my elevation views.

    Any help would be great.

I think this link may help. The quick answer is Revit doesn't have a tool like the AutoCAD polyline for areas, particularly in elevation. Ihttp://forums.augi.com/showthread.ph...highlight=area
