Default REVCLOUD with or without PAN

Some others were discussing using REVCLOUD when you cannot see the entire portion of the drawing you want to surround with the cloud. Here's the discussion.

The simple soulution is to use the Object option in the REVCLOUD command. Draw a pline around the changes, then turn that pline into a cloud.

I wanted to add that it doesnt have to be a Pline....

It will work with a circle, rectangle, ellipse, polyline, spline, even a regular old line....

I use this option all the time, and you come out with a nice, clean, even revcloud when you're done. Much easier than just drawing it freehand.

Talking Re: REVCLOUD with or without PAN

I am using 2002 and I don't see an Object option in the REVCLOUD command. Is it the version I'm using. Please email me gab@sweng.com. thanks

    Hi

Nope! not an option in AutoCAD 2002.

Try searching the forums, you should be able to find "RevCloud" routines that offer near enough the same functionality.

    Have a good one, Mike

I use AutoCAD 2004 and the revcloud command works with a circle, rectangle, ellipse, polyline, spline but doesn't with regular line or pline. Is it my version or is it me?
