Question Stop TMP files from being created when unable to write back to server

Does anybody know anything about or how to set *.tmp files from being created when you can't write back to a server.
    Reason:
We use a "File Replication" software (Availl), in the process of replicating or uploading to another server in another office, AutoCAD locks the drawing. When that drawings is to be saved again it creates *.tmp file, which is also being replicated to the other server.
is there anyway to set the location of the *.tmp file?
