    Unhappy Please help me start using MDT 6

    Hallo Designers
    I know how use AutoCAD but I am unable to start using Mechanical Desktop, Can anyone out there help start using Mechanical Desktop?
    I feel frustrated please help me!

    John, Mechanical Desktop (or MDT) is very different from AutoCAD in that it is a feature based parametric modeller, where you create parts using sketches to define geometry. In order to obtain satisfactory parts, these sketches must be fully constrained, that is, every line, arc, etc, must have dimensions and constraints to ensure that there is no chance that they can move. Assemblies are created using these parts, which are then constrained to each other. I suggest you first try any of the tutorials that MAY have come with your software, or download some from here.
