    Default Help

I am using ADT 2006 and we are in the process of correcting a few thousand details.
Let me explain what I am doing.
I first must correct the text style, we use Standard style with Swis721 BT as the font name. Is there a way that can easily convert a text style to a certain Font name?
I then change and add a few layers and colors.
When I am finished correcting I save then purge all then save again. Can this be shortened?

    Any help will be appreciated.

I think there's a script out there that will change the text font.

    -style
standard (name of style to modify)
mromans.shx (name of font to chage to)
(then it's like 5 or 6 enters to get out of the command)
This will only change the font. (beware, most fonts have differnt spacing to them, hence you want to test this to get he width correct or else you'll be modifying leader lenghts for the next year)

I know you can use the layer translator to map the layers to a new template and change colors; or you could write a script.
    -layer
    color
    "color number"
"name of layer you want to be that color"
    2 enters

    example

    -layer
    color
    5
    A-anno-note
(if you need more colors changed, start back at color. To end 2 enters)

For your purge, you can script that as well.
    -purge
    a
    *
    n

If you get tricky you could write the whole thing into a script

The only issue here I see is with the standards. If you're drrawings don't match exact, it won't work. But the nice part is, you can batch all of them before you leave, and find out which ones didn't work in the morning.
    Happy programming
(I just love the beer mug thing)
