Angry Attribute Blocks do not display when copied from one drawing to another

    Hi all

I am trying to copy some attribute blocks from one dwg to another. When I do this, the block does not show up. I tried thawing and turning on all layers. The block is inserted in an xref but it still doesn't appear. i am using AutoCAD 2005. Please Help!!!!

Not to ask an obvious question but did you try a zoom extents to make sure it's not off in some distant area?

Once you have them selected, can you edit the text? Is there anything else in the block and, if so, does it show up? Is there a wipeout attached to it?

No wipe out. and no text shows up. tried purging it, it is nested in the dwg.
