    Default Roof Slope Tag

I would really like a tag that calls out the roof slope, and the direction it slopes. It is very un-revit-like to be using a text for this. I've looked around a bit and see nothing even suggesting this. It would be helpful for roof plans, elevations, and sections. Am I the only one who is looking for something like this?

I know people have posted parametric roof slope annotation families (the triangular symbol with rise and run). I've never actually used it myself, though.

    Vanessa,

How about a "smart tag" that automatically tags the roof upon selection
with a tag symbol sim. to Brad's example? Then you could chabnge the pitch on the tag
and the roof slope would change? (Kind of like the elevation target/tag).

    Just a thought.....

They are simple annotation families that get placed in views.

Thanks for posting your families and the explanation. I just have a couple extra questions.

Are they linked to the roof object or parameters in any way? Is that possible yet?
