GPO Visibility In Cupboard

I am trying to get a GPO located inside an appliance cupboard to show in the electrical plan. This is however hidden by the cupboard which is a family. I dont want to change the furniture family into symolic lines only as it wont hide the floor in other views.

The GPO has symbolic lines in the family, however they are not showing through the cupboard in HL view - obviously it is ok if set to WF but this is no good.

I tried setting the view range to cut directly the GPO but this wont work. Any suggestions?

You could edit your casework family category to Generic, allowing it to be shown cut and then place a plan region.

A better solution is to use an annotation family nested in the electrical fixture family in lieu of symbolic lines.
