Default Run ATTEDIT command once (and only once) the first time a Layout is opened

I have recently set up a .dwt for my organization that includes a layout with our title block already attached. Is there a way that I can have the ATTEDIT command run once (and only once) the first time someone opens the layout? This is not a necessary design, but I think it would make it a little more user friendly.

You could write code (lisp or vba) in the reactor for when a layout is switched and if there are no other entities in the layout besides your block, run ATTEDIT.

You don't happen to know where I might be able to find some similar codes to help me get started do you? The only VBA I know is all MS Access based and I am afraid I don't have a lot of time to try and create this from scratch.
