    Hi,

read the Help, reviewed 14 pages on this site under General.
Can anyone please advise if there is a way to produce windows and door schedules graphically ( other than manually drafting ?)
( eg: not produced in text format using the Schedules) Is manual drafting the only way ? Am I missing something here ?
    thanks in advance.

Place an elevation of each door/window type and then turn off all the walls in the view and other items you don't need to see.
Crop each door/window elevation view down to align with the edges of the frame.
Then place them on your schedule sheet and note / dimension as required.

If you are scheduling total numbers of each door type, this method will need to be modified by placing the doors and windows used for the elevations, in some other phase ( temp phase or whatever ) than the current one and filtering the final schedule to exclude them. ( R 6.0).

    thanks BeeGee can do.
Will need to have the precise type / construction / leaf / sash / mullion/transoms etc for this to be compelling though , particularly since Revit currently cannot handle dimension editing fro the number, so whatever it is , it is.
There is little NZ content right now and these items are not that close to what we use here. That means a rather large custom library of windows especially.
Not that I am over concerned, but ArchiCAD does have a really good Editor for this exercise correct ?
The placement , sizing and editing of the Family sets, of windows for the respective frame elements remains a major stumbling block to your solution although this is no complaint of your asnwer, just a fact of content.
    Thanks again mate.
    cheers

    Trombe,

There is a wishlist thread regarding this issue. In this thread you can find some additional workarounds. You can also add a post supporting the idea so that the development team can get an idea of how much demand there is for this capability.
