    Default Unable to select objects!!

    Dear Reviteers,

Need help!! After working on the main floor plan for a while, I am now unable to select one of the walls that is shown on basment floor plan. If cross-select it, it works. But if I just left-click to select it, it doesn't work. I tried drawing a new wall, it still doesn't work. But if I draw a new wall on the main floor it works. What is happening here? I am frustrated here.

    Thank you all in advance.

Check your view range in both views. Objects below the bottom of the view range but above the view depth can only picked, not window-selected. Oddly, it sounds as though you can only do the opposite.

You can either post it or PM me so you can send it up to our FTP server.

    Thanks for the info, Wes.

I was drawing a phony wall under the stair landing. I couldn't select it after it was drawn. However when I cross-select it and stretched it beyone the whole stairs, I was able to select it. So what I am doing now is hiding the stairs to complete my drawing of the wall. I never knew the stair view range had an effect on the wall within its range. Thanks again for your help.

You can also change your view to wireframe and then select a line of the wall. Hope you're using the temporary hide tools to get the stair out of the way? I don't know how we lived without them all those years!
