Exclamation Re:Mspace Text is plotting outside of vport border

I am having a problem with my grid text and room text. The text is x-ref'd in mspace and is single line. I have set up my page layout to an HP 500 printer. When I print preview everything seems fine, but when the print comes out some of the text from mspace has printed outside of the the vport border. I am running AutoCad Desktop 2000, on windows 2000 professional. So far I have had to resort to whiteout since I can't seem to find the source of the problem, and it only occurs in certain files. Help?

Question Re: Re:Mspace Text is plotting outside of vport border

    Hi

For starters, have you applied the "AutoCAD 2000 Plotting Update Patch", plus associated Service Pack(s) -

    AutoCAD® Mechanical 2000 - Updates & Service Packs

    Have a good one, Mike
