    Question Subregion Parking Spaces

I am having problems with placing component parking spaces on asphalt subregions. When placed sometimes they are not visible unless curser is on it. I pick it, place it and select the Pick Host box and pick the subregion it is attaching to. Some are displayed OK, some are angled 30 to 45 degrees above the subregion and some are partially viewable because they are disappearing into the subregion surface. I have contours running through my subregion. Can these components bend with the subregion surface? I am using 8.0 if that makes a difference.

    Default Re: Subregion Parking Spaces

We are also having similar problems. As I remember in 6.1 parking spaces were independent of the topo below them. In 8.1 they appear to be hosted by the topo and therefore are distorted in plan view by the angle to the view. This creates several problems. We cannot dimension any of our parking spaces because they are all slightly out of parallel, and although the parking space tries to attach to the topo it appears to do so from its center which can cause the corners to float or sink. Anybody else experience this? What have people been doing?
