Any insight from the Factory in regards to the Plant Library?

The plant library is an awesome tool. I know it is an engine working inside of Revit, not directly programmed by the Revit Team, but programmed by the Revit Team to work inside of Revit....

Why do you think the Plant library is 1% the speed of the Material Editor? Even the Material Editor is slow, but the plant editor is just unbelievably slow. It has so much power, but it is practically worthless.....

Any insight? Why oh why!!!!!

I'm bringing this back up because I'm noticing this problem, too.

Now I swear that the last time I messed with the plant library when trying to tweak a rendering, it was not like this. I mean maybe click on a plant and the image comes up in 2-3 seconds in each successive box. Now I click once and it sits and sits and sits and sits forEVER (nearly a minute per click)! This is extremely unacceptable in my book.

I'm thinking this may actually be my first experience w/ the plant editor in 8.1 and that it was much faster in 8?
