    Default Portable License Utility

I get an error message when I try and execute the Portable License Utility program in Revit. It tells me to uninstall, reboot and install again which I did and still get the same error message. Has anybody out there had this happen to them
    TIA

    John,
So you don't get into the dialog box at all? I am not having a problem up here in LA. Did you install as a single installation? Is the license active or are you on the 30 day license?

Had the same issue. The only thing that fixed it was a complete re-install.

I had just (30 min ago) the same problem when changing to a new computer, though I removed and reinstalled the program. Fortunately REVIT allowed me to re-register with my old serial number, otherwise there had been a serious delay in work. Perhaps I would have to manually remove all the Revit files and just not remove and reinstall the program in order to get the Portable licence utility fixed.

For me this problem was being caused by the automatic deployment.

I re-installed the program from the install file instead of the deployment shortcut, then transfered the license, then re-installed from the deployment for the presets.

That worked fine on 2 computers.
